Description
This is my submission for the RIFT COLOSSUS CONTEST. I decided to do a colossus based on the element of LIFE. I had been wanting to do a monster made of many twisted organic parts, plus I wanted the challenge of taking the "life" theme and making it dangerous.
This piece was hand drawn in pencil and scanned into the computer. I traced the pencil lines with Adobe Flash to give it a digital ink feel. Then I did the fill in colors with Adobe Flash. So the final piece is 100 percent vector art.
